"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."
Helen Keller
After working at San Gabriel for over one month, I am pleased with our progress and have developed new ideas and gained new inspiration. The importance of networking and sharing lesson plans/best practices has become my focus. The students of San Gabriel need an organized curriculum with set learning goals that can be easily measured by quick assessments. This curriculum must be supported with easy to follow engaging lesson plans in order for volunteers to step into the classroom and offer effective instruction that is consistent and meaningful.
This blog will serve as a resource for such lesson plans. I will provide activities and links to other sites with similar interests. I also ask that others post their ideas and best practices.
