Using Trash to Grow Plants and Harvesting Water

Weeks of collecting plastic bottles, cutting them in half and punching holes in the bottoms have paid off.   We now have hundreds of little homemade pots filled with soil and seeds lining the walls  and hanging from the ceiling of the greenhouse!
Luis and Adrian crafted a gutter out of a large plastic pipe and we are now able to collect rain water for the plants!  This was a vital step towards turning our greenhouse into a functioning garden.

Adrian tests the gutter's ability to direct water into a large barrel while some students take the opportunity to get wet!
